Windows Delayed, NT Holes & Loosing One's Marbles.
(03/31/97) Last Week's News News Archives

A lot has happened in the last two weeks, most of it good for our side. Microsoft announced that Windows 97 would not be released until mid-1998 due to Internet Exploder bugs. The next day, Microsoft and Intel stocks both lost more than 5 points before lunch. The stock market has been dropping as a whole ever since then, although MSFT and INTC have both regained their losses now.

Windows NT reportedly has a large security hole in the form of a Ms-made password utility. Microsoft still denies it's a risk, they say it's a planned feature that won't do much harm. Apparently we who've called Microsoft's server/software combo Ms HackOffice are correct.

Microsoft introduced their new Marble Software for "more secure financial web sites." Combine that with Windows NT & Internet Explorer and you're going to be less secure than a $50 bill laying on a sidewalk. The only companies that will use all 3 combined will be on the massive Microsoft corporate payroll.
