Microsoft has bought WebTV, cornering a market before it even fully exists. Coincidentally, 2 days before the Ms purchase, the FCC announced that all TV broadcasts will be digital by 2006. I see TV/PC integration forced down our throats here, any of you with Sony or Magnavox WebTV boxes should dump them now before it's too late. We should all enjoy the last 9 years of normal TV we have left before Ms takes over..
And speaking of television takeovers, BSN.. err.. MSNBC introduced their new $60 million set last week. It features such news-necessities as a rotating newsdesk and a giant curcuit board engraved into glass. Boy, I don't know how Walter Cronkite ever got along without a rotating newsdesk...
