The MSBC Anti-IU-Microsoft
-Agreement Petition
Indiana University and Microsoft have announced an agreement to make Microsoft the exclusive provider of software for the university system until the year 2002. This $6 million deal would put Ms software into every area of the school, ensuring that the 100,000+ students in the system will continue buying Microsoft products and keeping the company profitable for the rest of eternity. To try and stop this from happening, The MSBC has set up this petition in hopes that we can convince the administrators of IU to change their mind.
The petition, with over 220 names and e-mail addresses on it, was sent to Indiana University administrators, indiana newspapers and other media outlets on April 20, 1998. To see the actual petition, click here. Thanks to all of you who signed the petition.
